Multi-Media Academy

OIHS hosts a California Partnership Academy with a focus in multi-media and technology.  All students take a series of classes and participate in a variety of interdisciplinary projects designed to build student's skills in technology, web design, video and sound editing, and facility with learning new web based programs.

In 12th grade, all students have an internship outside the school 2 days a week as well as a support class dedicated to career exploration, creating a resume, and learning professional skills necessary to succeed in the workplace.

OIHS partners with a variety of technology and multi-media organizations.  We offer after school classes in partnership with KDOL that provide students with college credit.   Each fall, students can receive a free computer provided by OTX West if a parent and student participate in our technology night.  Through a partnership with the Association for Continuing Education, parents can also learn technology skills in our weekly parent's computer class.
